Welcome to the Mid Wales Joint Committee for Health and Care website

We are a joint committee of health and care organisations providing services to Mid Wales which has been established in response to one of the twelve recommendations made in the Mid Wales Healthcare Study (2014). Our aim is to ensure collaborative working across the Mid Wales region to improve rural health and care services for the population. The Mid Wales approach supports the Welsh Government’s expectation that health and social care organisations will work together to plan and deliver regional solutions across organisational boundaries.
